Kim Robert Milligan

Kim R Milligan died peacefully in his home on the morning of Friday, September 14th.

Kim was born on June 5, 1952 in Portland, OR. The oldest of two children born to Gerald (Jay) and Joann (Landauer) Milligan. The former alter boy was raised mostly in the Portland area. He attended La Salle High School where he was class president and graduated with the Class of 1970. Kim attended the University of Oregon and eventually went into the food service industry. He held many positions, from bartender to food sales until he finally found his home with Houston’s Inc, where he became the national sales manager for the master distributor.

An avid golfer and car enthusiast, Kim enjoyed traveling in pursuit of the next great golf course or race track. When not traveling, he liked to spend as much time as possible in Redmond Oregon, where he enjoyed golf, fishing, and target shooting with his wife and friends. Kim enjoyed life to the fullest and is known for his quick wit and ability to make people laugh. He was fortunate enough to find a second soul mate, Heather, after his first beloved wife Janine passed on. Kim was then firmly embraced by the entire ‘Steinwald’ clan, as he called them, when he married into Heather’s large family. After looking back at his life a few months back, he mused, “It’s been a good run”.

Also affectionately known by some of his many friends as The Prince, Muldoon, Doc, Spike, or Kimmie. . .

Kim Milligan is survived by wife; Heather Milligan, a sister; Toni Winter; his furry four legged children; Maddie and Harley, all of the Steins, Bakers, and his dear friends who have come to love him.

An Irish wake will be held at 6:00 PM at the Stockpot Broiler on Friday, Sept. 28th.
