Gabriela's Obituary
Gabriela Jimenez Perez, 43, a longtime member of the Hillsboro community passed away on November 16, 2022.
Gabriela was born on July 9, 1979 in Panorama City, CA. She was the third oldest of six children born to Juan Arana Perez and Maria Reyes Hernandez. She moved with her family to Hillsboro as a little girl and graduated from Glencoe High School with the Class of 1997. She then attended PCC and attained a Bachelor’s degree at PSU.
Gaby met her husband Carlos Jimenez Vargas at a dance and they married in 1997, following high school. They made their home in Hillsboro and had four daughters, Priscila, Stefany, Camila and Rebeka.
Gaby previously worked for the Hillsboro School District as a substitute teacher. She then moved to the private sector and worked in Human Resources. She was always working hard to provide for her family.
Gaby was an incredibly kind and loving mother. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and vegetables and raising chickens. Her family was everything to her and she spent many hours doing things with the whole family. She loved singing Karaoke, belly dancing, and camping. She loved travelling to Hawaii and other places. She was an amazing cook, especially her oven enchiladas. Gaby followed the Walking Dead
and Game of Thrones Series.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Lenin Hernandez Rosas.
Gaby is survived by her four daughters, Priscila Jimenez, Stefany Jimenez Perez, Camila Jimenez, and Rebeka Jimenez of Hillsboro, her mother and step-father, Maria Reyes Hernandez and Ismael Delgado both of Hillsboro, four siblings Liduvi Perez Hernandez, Juan Perez Hernandez, Linda Perez Hernandez, and Jaime Delgado Hernandez, as well as many nieces and nephews.
